Biozell Volumizing Seawater Spray review

Hi my lovely readers! Today I'll be reviewing a product I've been wanting to review for ages: Biozell's Volumizing Seawater Spray.

Let's get straight to it: This product is AMAZING!

I've been using this product for almost a year - I got it in a beauty blogger meet up in March. Afterwards I also got a backup for it.
I spray  three to six  pumps of this product in the roots of my hair when I want some volume or hold in my hair. My hair type is extremely slick so updos don't last more than an hour or so on my hair if I don't use this product to give my hair some texture and hold to it.

This product has saved so many bad hair days! I also like that while this is kind of sticky in your hair, it's not super crunchy or as sticky as other seawater sprays I've tried. I've even almost stopped using hairspray because my hair stays volumized so well thanks of this product.
I have previously used many many many other seasalt sprays but honey, none of them work quite as well as this one.

The only downside to this product is the packaging. It isn't the most eye catching and two times the nostril/spray of the product has  stopped working (I don't know why) but after a while it has been okay again. So there's a little room for improvement with the packaging but otherwise I don't have anything bad to say about the product.

Also, Biozell's Volumizing Seawater Spray (150ml) only costs around 6,50€ in Finland. It's very easy to find it in any Prisma or K-Citymarket where Biozell is sold.

This product is Holy Grail status! I'll never live without it!

Thanks for reading! I really recommend this product and I hope you give it a go! :)

 xoxo Pauliina

*Disclaimer: I got this product for free from a beauty blogger meet up but I am not affiliated with Biozell in any way. They have no idea I'm doing this post.

Random favorites of 2014

Hi my lovely readers! This is my recap of last year :) I have done these kinds of recaps of the past two years also.
2014 was a roller coaster ride for me. overall it was good but my dear grandfather and Luna passed in the summer and that was really hard time for me. But I know they're in a better place now. So let's put those sad memories aside and check out what were the best thing that happened in 2014!

My highlights of 2014

My trip to Dubai
· In February me, my sister, my brother and my father went to Dubai. I just love Dubai  and of course I enjoyed my fifth visit as well :)

A weekend in Tallinn with my boyfriend
· At the end of spring me and my boyfriend spent a weekend in a spa hotel in Tallinn Estonia. It was a nice relaxing weekend and I really enjoyed it.

Welcoming Ässä to our family
· Ever since Luna passed away my family knew it wouldn't be possible to live without a bunny. So, in june we drove for several hours to go get our newest family member Ässä. Ässä is such a charmer but sometimes I'm certain that he has ADHD... We still love him though :)

Ässä enjoying Christmas

Meeting new people
· I just love meeting new people and making new friends. In 2014 I've been more involved in the Finnish beauty blogger scenario and it's been really nice to meet people who have the same interests as me :)

Things I wished I did more (and will try to do more in 2015):
1. Reading - Yeah, I didn't spend nearly enough time reading as I should have had. I love reading and it makes me depressed to think that I only read like five books last year.
2. Baking - I baked a lot  in the autumn and wintertime, but I hope to make baking a regular hobby that I will do all the time. I find baking relaxing and I just love it!
3. Excercising - Ehh. Yeah. Didn't move enough.
4. Going outside (such as walking in the forest) - Finnish nature is so beautiful, so I should spend more time outside.
5.  Following more ice hockey - I really love watching ice hockey but in 2014 I barely watched it at all. In 2015 I hope to be more into ice hockey again.

Top 5 TV-shows of 2014
1. Sherlock (is my all-time fave and I enjoyed it in 2014 as well)
2. Game of Thrones
3. 2 Broke Girls
4.  Pretty Little Liars
5.  Sex and the City

Favourite movie and book of 2014
Gone girl
Bridget Jones -books

Top 5 songs  of 2014
1. Ella Henderson - Ghost
2. Idina Menzel - Let it go
3.  Lorde - Tennis Court
4.  Imagine Dragons - Radioactive
5. Donkeyboy - Crazy something normal

Hope you enjoyed my random favorites of 2014 :)

L'Oreal Infallible nail polish review (Fuschia For Life)

Hi my lovely readers!

Today I'm going to review Loreal's new nail polish from the Infallible line in color Fucshia For Life 020. I got this polish from a goodie bag (see previous post) for free, but that does not affect this review in any way.

This polish comes with two steps: the color and a topcoat

The claims of the product: "A stunning, show stopping hybrid gel-lacquer result, which defies a UV manicure" L'Oreal

Texture/Formula: 8/10
The polish was medium sheer: two coats worked ok. It took ages for the polish to dry and I definitely didn't have the patience needed to apply three coats. I smudged my left thumb three times and I had to repaint the whole nail several times...
Otherwise I really loved the formula: it was shiny and really looked like a gel manicure.

Longevity: 10/10
WOW, JUST WOW!!! This polish lasted SO well on my nails (I did apply my usual OPI base coat before the other steps).
I usually paint my nails at least three times a week since I use my hands at work and normal nail polish wears off pretty quickly. I wore this polish for six days and it looked so good! Almost no chips at all!
I'll definitely be buying more shades once I see this in stores!
And the best part is: It was even easier to remove than regular nail polish! I was sure it'd be a pain to remove but no, it was super easy with just a normal nail polish remover. I'd choose a nail polish like this over a gel manicure, because of the easy removal process.

Overall: 9/10
I am in love! I will be buying more of these!
The downsides are the drying time, the sheerness of the formula and the fact that this polish is quite small and will last only for three to five manicures. However it's drugstore so the prices aren't too bad (about 12 euros in Finland). I also loved the wide brush, it was easy to paint the nails without getting any polish on my cuticles (which you should avoid with these gel-kind of polishes).

The brush is quite wide, I really like it!
One coat of polish
Two coats of polish
After six days of use:

I really do recommend this product! Hope you liked this review, thanks for reading!

Beauty blogger meet & what was inside the goodies bag

Hi my lovely readers!
I went to a beauty blogger meet last Saturday. The meet was hosted by Henna, and it was a celebration for her blog turning five years old! Congratulations and thanks again for the awesome meet! I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the food/snacks were delicious!
Unfortunately I forgot my camera and I don't have any pictures from the meet ;__;  Sorry! :(

We all received AMAZING goodie bags! I wanted to show all the products to you guys, because then you can tell me if you want to see reviews of any of these products :) I also want transparency: I want you to know that I got these items for free and it doesn't affect my opinion in any way.

How cute were the name tags in the goodie bags? :)

I'm really excited to try out some products from Urtekram! Especially I'm looking forward to trying the deodorant and hand cream!

Some awesome-looking Louis Widmer products!

Nail polish and brow gel from Loreal, eyeshadows from Maybelline.
We also got  a Konjac Sponge (whii, excited to try it out!) and Compeed plasters which are my go to plasters, I love them!

A foot-care set from Freeman. This will be useful during winter!

A shower gel, in-shower body cream and a body cream from Lemon Juice & Glycerine.

I'm SO happy we got socks and stockings from Falke! I have never tried the brand before, but my good friend has recommended Falke for me. We also got a stylish necklace from Glitter :) #purkkimafia

Some Lush goodies and self-tanners from Avon.

Makeup from Elf, Yves Rocher and Artdeco, hair products from Goldwell.

Yay! Biozell Seawater spray and Crystal mist - these I already tried and these two ROCK! The hair powder I haven't tried out yet :)

These items will keep my skin moisturized!

And finally, a beach spray and cream mousse from Four Reasons and a body lotion from ACO.

Thanks again to:

And thanks for reading! Next up will be a review of the Loreal nail polish seen in this post.

OPI Haul

Hi my lovely readers!

Recently I bought some beautiful OPI nail polishes from a cosmetologist trade show. Here are the polishes, please request a review if you'd like to know what I think of any of these polishes! :)

This polish is from the Nordic collection and it's called "My dogsled is a hybrid". It's a pretty minty color with a bit more blue in it.

This pretty purple called "Do you have this color in Stock-holm?" is also from the Nordic collection, and I just love it. I already used it and it was perfect with two coats.

Next up is "Life gave me lemons" from the OPI Neons collection. This is such a cute citrus color, will be perfect for spring and summer.

Also from the Neons collection,  we have this radiant purple (ehh, not really showing up in this picture) named "Push & Pur-pull".

This magical duochrome is the oh-so-popular "Green on the runway" from the Coca Cola -collection. This color is inspired by Sprite, which happens to be my favorite soda.

Last but not least we have "Coca Cola red". What can I say, this goes perfectly with a bottle of coke!

Here are all the beauties with flash :) Ahh I just love them! <3

My nail care routine: How to get healthier, stronger nails!

Hi my lovely readers!
Someone requested a nail care routine post (ehh, like a year ago) so today I decided to document my nail care routine for you all. This has really helped my nails not to brake too often (they brake couple of times times a year). I do this at least once a week, but usually three times per week :) I highly recommend all the products shown here, I've bought them all with my own money and they are fabulous!

My nail care routine begins with exfoliating my hands and cuticles: I use absolutely amazing product called Lumoava Lady. This product has sugar and oil in it and it makes my hands feel so soft! This product gets all the dead skin cells off my hands so moisturizers sink in better.

This is what the scrub looks like on my hands:

After scrubbing my hands, I move to a cuticle oil. I really like Sally Hansen's Diamond Strength Cuticle+ Nail Oil. It's the best one I've tried so far. I massage it into my nails and cuticles.

After the oil, I will treat my nails and cuticles with my ULTIMATE FAVOURITE NAIL CARE PRODUCT EVER: Burt's Bees Lemon butter cuticle cream. I've gone through five of these!! I love this product SO much! I have dermatillomania, and having my cuticles in this condition is a miracle! They used to be awful, but this product has healed them and it's hard for me to pick them anymore :)

The next step is to use a hand cream. I adore Soap & Glory's Hand Food. It's quite thick but sinks in fairly quickly. This hand cream is a life saviour during Finnish winter.

Now my hands, nails and cuticles are soft and moisturized so it's easy to push back my cuticles. I use this tool I bought from Bornprettystore. I highly recommend this, it's super effective (and it was super cheap, hehe)!

After pushing back my cuticles, I foe my nails down a bit. I use my trusty glass nail file by Trind. It's five years old and still works like a dream. Please don't use those cheap nail files, invest in a glass file and you'll never go back! Glass files are so much better for your nails.

Unfiled nails ;P
Filed nails :)

The final step to my nail care routine is to apply OPI's Nail Envy before a base coat. Now this product is a total must for everyone who wants stronger nails! I've been using this product for five years and it's crazy how much healthier, thicker and stronger my nails have become (well, you can see the improvement within a month of use, it doesn't take five years xD). I cannot live without this product!

I hope that this post helped you if you suffer from weak nails. I really recommend all of these products with my whole heart :)
Thanks for reading, have a magical day!

xoxo Pauliina
