What does my blog say?

Well, lately my blog hasn't said anything at all.
I'm so sorry! I've had some technical difficulties and on top of that I've been super busy :(

Lets catch up!
What have I been up to? Mainly working, decorating my house, dating a special someone, seeing my friends and sleeping.
 Yup, that's it.

Now, pictures speak louder than words.

Sorry for being such a slacker. I promise I'll be writing a proper blog post very soon! :)
Thanks for your patience <3

Such a Nice vacation!

Hi my lovely readers!
I was on a family vacation in Antibes, South-France. Antibes is located 15 minutes from Nice, and two minutes from Cannes, so it's absolutely lovely place to have a vacation on! There was a huge harbour with millionaires' boats, a lovely old town to explore and on Saturday a French antique flea market in the central plaza.
Here area a few pics from our trip :)

Fun fact; I didn't see a single Pepsi can or bottle during the vacation! Now I'm so sick of Coca-
Cola!

Lovely windows!

What a place to get your desserts! Look at those delicius macarons *__*

Look at me! I'm destroying my teeth with Coca-cola! Whiii~

A beautiful sunset of Antibes.

I'm in Monaco, bitch!

Me and my beautiful sister

The incredible view of Monaco's harbour from the top of the Prince's Palace

Me and a Nutella-flavoured macaron

I declare this chocolate cake to be the best chocolate cake in the world!

Shopping in Antibes

Looking so hawt... Or maybe not.

Overall, it was an awesome vacation. I shopped a lot and even got a little bit of a tan (not showing in the photos, though). Have you guys had any vacations recently?

REVIEW: Chanel's Fire nail lacquer

Hi my lovely readers! :) Here's a review of Chanel's 159 'Fire' nail lacquer for you all!

*note* This is the only pic I've photoshopped in this post. Changed the curves slightly.

I purchased this nail polish over a year ago, it was on sale for only nine euros. Normally this polish sells for 26€ in Finland. The bottle contains 13ml of polish.

Texture/formula: 9/10
Loved the texture of the polish. It was nice and creamy, no excess bubbles or any issues with the formula.

One coat of polish
Honey, this is 'Fire' with just one coat.
Two coats of polish.
Pigmentation: 9/10
This nail polish is very nice, it takes only two coats to make it completely opaque on the nail.

Two coats with flash. As you can see, I made quite a mess with the polish, because of not being used to the square brush. So excuse the mess, I just wanted to show it to you guys.

Brush/application: 6/10
While this brush doesn't leave any streaks, the shape of it is absolutely terrible. My cuticles form U-shape, and considering the fact, that this brush is a complete square, makes applying polish harder than it should be (especially at this price point). If you only used Chanel nail polishes, you'd propably get used to this brush easily, but if you only paint your nails with Chanel polish once in a while, you'll propably make more of a mess than usually. At least I got some polish on my cuticles, I usually don't get any, if I use OPI or other brands with better brush.
It also took ages for this polish to dry... 20 long minutes (without any fast drying topcoat etc)! Duhh!

Packaging: 10/10
Classic Chanel packaging just gets me! Very lovely, beautiful and easy to store bottle.

Longevity:  7/10
The staying power of this nail lacquer is not that great... Without any topcoat, this polish chips he very next day after applying it. I do have to say, that my nails encounter quite a bit possible damage/wear  when I'm working. So it's quite typical that my nail polish only lasts for a day or two, but I would have expected better results with Chanel.

Overall: 8/10
I liked this nail lacquer very much. However, I wouldn't pay 26€ for a Chanel nail polish unless the color was super special. If you see this somewhere for a little bit cheaper, take the chance and grab it! :)
